Founded in 1866, Trent College has shaped generations of young people for almost 160 years through academic excellence, exceptional opportunities in sport, the arts and wider school life, and developed lifelong friendships.
Trent College welcomed its first girl in September 1975, marking the bold step towards co-education. Fifty years on, we celebrate the generations of girls who have helped shape the life of the school and continue to contribute to its vibrant and inclusive community.
Completed in 1875, the ‘Chapel of our College’ stands as a memorial to the school's founding member, Francis Wright, and has been at the centre of Trent life ever since.
For some, they will be familiar surroundings; for others, a chance to discover how the school has evolved. The evening begins in the former dining hall, now the Devonshire Library, before moving to its modern successor, the Prince Obolensky Building, for dinner and the celebrations.
The drinks reception. Oak panelling, warm light, champagne service and reconnections with old friends from the moment you arrive.
A modern addition to the Trent campus, the Prince Obolensky hosts the evening's dinner, entertainment and celebrations, with the adjoining Lee Lounge bar open throughout the night.
An evening of dining, entertainment and conversation in the company of fellow alumni and friends.
The doors open. Drinks served in the Devonshire Library as the room fills.
Guests are called through to the Prince Obolensky Building and to their tables for the evening.
Myleene Klass MBE opens the evening, setting the tone for the night ahead.
Guests enjoy fine cuisine in the historic surroundings of Trent College, with toasts to the longstanding partnership between the School and the Society as we celebrate our shared heritage in this landmark year.
Brief words from the President of the Old Tridents Society and Trent College.
Myleene will perform a selection of classical piano pieces as part of the evening's programme — a memorable musical interlude in the celebration.
Following dinner and the formal programme, guests are invited to continue the evening with music from the DJ, dancing and the opportunity to catch up with friends old and new, in the comfort of the adjoining Lee Lounge bar.
